Rachel is a passionate, collaborative, and authentic leader whose focus on results led to her appointment as Executive Vice President, Global Premium Products & Benefits. Based in New York, Rachel oversees American Express’ Premium Consumer Card Products, the Membership Rewards program, and global benefits spanning customer passion areas across travel, dining, entertainment, retail, and wellness.
Prior to this role, Rachel was Managing Director for American Express Australia and New Zealand and oversaw the Consumer Card, Merchant, and Commercial businesses within these regions. During her time in A/NZ, Rachel led the local business through significant industry and regulatory change, delivered record growth, and championed marriage equality and gender pay equality.
Rachel joined American Express in the Sydney office in 1993 as a part time customer care professional. Over the following two decades, she held a number of roles within the Consumer Card and Small Business Services teams, Loyalty, Lending, Partnership, Digital and general management roles.
Before joining American Express, Rachel worked as a Strategic Planner for M&C Saatchi. She has a Masters Degree in Psychology from Sydney University and is married with three children.
