The Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) has recognised Publicis Worldwide Australia & New Zealand CEO Andrew Baxter with one of its special accolades at this year’s annual awards event in Melbourne.
Andrew was presented with the Sir Charles McGrath award recognising Andrew’s significant career contribution to the marketing industry.
The list of winners is a who’s who of Australian business leaders, including Sir AV Jennings, Bob Ansett and Harry M Miller in the 1970’s, Bib Stillwell, Hector Crawford and Peter Bartels in the 1980’s, James Strong, Bob Miller, Neville Fielke and Michael Gudinski in the 1990’s, Maureen Plavsic, Geoff Dixon, Roger Corbett, Gail Kelly and Justin Milne in the 2000’s, and most recently Bernie Brookes, Harold Mitchell, Launa Inman and Holly Kramer in the 2010’s.
As the CEO of Publicis Worldwide, Andrew is a sought after marketing and communications advisor to many of the country’s top CEO’s, CMO’s and Government leaders. He also regularly discusses the future of marketing as a columnist for The Australian, speaker at industry and corporate events, and Guest Lecturer at Sydney and Melbourne Universities. Furthermore, Andrew’s marketing experience has seen him hold a number of significant Board roles.
