The mind behind some of Australia's most iconic advertising campaigns has been appointed as a Director to the Board of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Andrew Baxter is CEO of Publicis Australia, one of the largest communications groups in the country, and in his former role as CEO of Ogilvy Australia he oversaw the creation of campaigns "Share a Coke" for Coca-Cola and Rhonda & Ketut for AAMI.
An enthusiastic supporter of the SSO, Andrew has been a member of Vanguard (our membership program for Gen X & Y SSO fans and future philanthropists) since its inaugural year of 2012.
He is also a member of the Publicis Worldwide Global Management Board, Chair of The Song Room, a former Chair of the Melbourne Aces in the Australian Baseball League, and on the board of The Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation as well as the Communications Council.
